Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and JH Square Co., Ltd. (“Mudang.k”, “we”, “us”), the operator of the Mudang.kwebsite and app (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, or by purchasing a reading, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Mudang.k generates personalized Korean saju (Four Pillars) readings and related content from the birth details you provide. Readings are digital content delivered through your account.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service, and at least 18 (or have your guardian’s consent) to make a purchase. By using the Service you confirm that you meet these requirements.
3. Your account & information
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter (such as a birth date) and for keeping any sign-in credentials secure. We process your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Purchases, pricing & payment
Prices are shown on our Pricing page in US dollars and may change at any time, though changes do not affect purchases already made. Payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd.(Paddle), who is the seller/reseller of record, handles billing and applicable sales tax/VAT, and issues your receipt. By purchasing you also agree to Paddle’s buyer terms presented at checkout.
5. Digital delivery & access
Readings are delivered instantly to your account after a successful payment. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the chapters you have unlocked for your personal, non-commercial use. No physical product is shipped.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not resell, redistribute, scrape, or commercially exploit the Service or its content.
- Do not attempt to access another user’s account, data, or readings.
- Do not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to circumvent the security or paywall of the Service.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, its software, design, and generated content are owned by JH Square Co., Ltd. or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. These Terms grant you no rights other than the limited license in Section 5.
8. Entertainment only — no professional advice
Mudang.k is provided for entertainment and self-reflection. Readings are not professional advice of any kind (including medical, psychological, legal, or financial) and are not a prediction or guarantee of any outcome. Do not rely on a reading to make important decisions; seek a qualified professional where appropriate.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any reading is accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JH Square Co., Ltd. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us (via Paddle) for the reading giving rise to the claim.
11. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above; continued use after changes means you accept them.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence applies.
